Priority First Aid uses your personal information to provide the services you have contracted from us, to manage your account, to process payment, and to correspond with you. Priority First Aid will not sell, share, or use your information for other purposes.

This web site includes links to other sites, which are governed by their own privacy policies. Priority First Aid is not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites.

Online Payments 

All online transactions and contributions on this site occur through a safe, private, and secure system that protects your personal information.

Cookies

Similar to other commercial websites, priorityfirstaid.ca utilizes a standard technology called “cookies” and server logs to collect information about how our site is used. Information gathered through cookies and server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our site, and websites visited just before and just after our own, as well as your IP address.

Priority First Aid reserves the right to use technological equivalents of cookies, including social media pixels. These pixels allow social media sites to track visitors to outside websites so as to tailor advertising messages users see while visiting that social media website. Priority First Aid reserves the right to use these pixels in compliance with the policies of the various social media sites.

CANCELLATION

General

Unavoidable and unforeseeable circumstances can sometimes interrupt planned training sessions. Such situations could include storms making driving unsafe, power outages, or illness of the instructor or client.

In the event that NSCC (Nova Scotia Community College) closes, please see the NSCC closures page, scheduled courses will be automatically canceled. Rest assured, we will promptly reach out to reschedule your training at the earliest convenience.

Should you find yourself in a situation where cancellation becomes necessary due to personal reasons, we kindly request that you notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs and reschedule your course accordingly.

Please note that for Basic Life Support (BLS) courses, a nominal refund fee of $10 will be applied to cover credit card processing fees. Similarly, for Intermediate Life Support (ILS) courses, a $40 refund fee will be charged to offset both online course expenses and credit card processing fees.

While we strive to maintain a professional and efficient operation, we also aim to ensure that our customers feel supported and valued throughout their training experience. Your understanding and cooperation regarding our cancellation policy are greatly appreciated.

Cancellation by client of corporate courses

Priority First Aid understands that unavoidable and unforeseeable circumstances can sometimes occur within our client’s operations. Priority First Aid will work with our clients to reschedule their training if they delay it. Generally, we will not charge for training that is delayed or rescheduled. Priority First Aid may, at our option, charge if expenses are incurred by us for room rentals or travel.

Cancellation by individual clients for instructor-led courses

Priority First Aid understands that unavoidable and unforeseeable circumstances can sometimes occur once someone has booked training. Priority First Aid will work with individual clients to reschedule their training if they delay it. Generally, we will not charge for training that is delayed or rescheduled. 

Cancellation of online training programs.

Priority First Aid incurs an expense when the online training package is delivered to the client (both individuals and corporate clients). Once the online training is forwarded to the client, the client will be responsible for the number of seats booked for the online course.

Cancellation by Priority First Aid

Priority First Aid has delivered courses to over 15,000 people and has only cancelled in extremely rare circumstances. In instances in which Priority First Aid must cancel a session, we will strive to inform you at least 24 hours in advance. Priority First Aid will work with you to reschedule the session at a time and date of your satisfaction.
